Do you ever have those days where it seems nothing goes right? If some of the things in your world are out of control, one thing you can control is what you do behind the wheel.
When you’re driving, try to put all of the distractions aside and just focus on the road. It might be hard, but it’s worth it. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has data that shows more than 3,000 lives are lost each year because of distracted driving.
There are three main types of distractions behind the wheel. To be safe, keep your eyes on the road, your hands on the wheel and your mind on the task of driving.

So far this year in Iowa, 194 people have been killed in traffic crashes. That’s an increase of 10 since last Friday. In Iowa in 2022, there were 338 traffic-related deaths.
