In the game of life, we all know the end is inevitable, but are you doing everything you can to prolong the inevitable? As you go about your daily life, the moves (or choices) you make can have a significant impact on the length of your individual “game.”
As a driver one of the positive strategic moves you can make is reducing distractions while you are behind the wheel. The data indicates that as a nation, we’re not very good at reducing distractions. Overall, the statistics show that one in four crashes involve distracted drivers.
Distractions come in many forms, but the basic premise is that anything that takes your mind off the task of driving, your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road is a distraction you need to avoid.
According to a AAA study, 6 out of 10 crashes involving teens driver are caused by distractions.
For 2019, there have been 81 fatalities reported. That’s an increase of four since last Monday. The 2018 fatality count stands at 317.
