TRANSPORTATION MATTERS for IOWA

New web-based training now available for employees

WebbasedrainingWeb-based training is a great way for Iowa DOT employees to keep up on the latest trends, brush up on skills, or pick up new information. There are a number of Web-based courses available that can be viewed anytime. Once you have your supervisor’s approval, simply go to the Iowa DOT’s training website at: http://www.iowadot.gov/training/index.html.

Once at this site, click on Web-based Training Courses and follow instructions. If you have not taken a Web-based course in the past, you need to set up learning credentials to get a login and password.   When you have set up your learning credentials, you can view any and all of the Web-based courses as often as you like. This site contains some great courses, as well as reviews for a number of the certification courses.  There is no charge for any of our Web-based courses.

If you are interested in learning more about the technical training and certification courses, click on “Technical Training and Certification Program” from the main training page link listed above.

Courses are frequently added, so check back for new courses.
